Correspondent, 18 October: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) owner Kavya Maran and renowned music composer Anirudh Ravichander are set to tie the knot soon. However, an interesting detail has emerged regarding their cricket loyalties: although Kavya owns the Hyderabad franchise, her future husband is a staunch supporter of a completely different team.
Kavya's parents, Kalanithi Maran and Kaveri Maran, recently met with Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. The purpose of their meeting was to invite the Chief Minister to the upcoming wedding reception, which is scheduled to take place in Chennai on November 21.
While the highly discussed wedding is making headlines everywhere, the couple's Indian Premier League (IPL) preferences are also drawing attention. Despite Kavya owning the Hyderabad squad, her future husband does not particularly favor that team. Instead, Anirudh prefers the Chennai franchise in the tournament and is a hardcore fan of the Chennai Super Kings.
